The Star Track

An experimental project (in progress)

Like watching Sci-Fi movies when I was a kid,

especially the part when astronauts driving different types of spaceship flying towards to the outer space.

HK is a condensed high-rise city. Usually we can only see a bit of the sky through the gap between the high rises.

It's a luxury if you can see the whole sky without any blocking.

Within the gap between buildings, sometimes imagine it's a star track,

which can bring me out from the city, pass through the sky, the atmosphere, the space, the universe,

to discover how big the universe is and how small we are,

and ask the question where does man-kind come from?

This series disassembled and reconstructed photos taken from different buildings to rebuild my own version of star track.
